New Year

It’s New Years Eve 2006.  As I think about this past year and look towards 2007, I think about the Christmas season and how the two holidays, so close together, are similar in nature.

New Years of course, represents a new beginning, a time for starting over, a chance to change if necessary, reflections of the past 365 days.  A chance to “retry” the next 365.

Christmas represents a new beginning too.  We celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who, through His sacrifice for us on the cross, affords us a second chance also.  Not just for the next 365 days, but for our entire lifetime, if we choose to accept this free gift.

Choose to start the year (and a lifetime) following the Word of God.  Learn more at BookOfLoveSite.com.  Find the words of John about this amazing love of Jesus.

Jesus loves you, and so does Dad!
