Three Things in Life That Make A Man/Woman
Hard Work: I love Colossians 3:23. "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men." It sits on the web page, www.sitesanddomains.com . Working diligently as if the Creator of all things is our direct supervisor (because actually He is) will cause an affect that will be pleasing to Him, and because His word will not return "void" (He keeps His word as written in the Bible), He will pour out rewards to the faithful as needed and in a timetable best suited for us.
Sincerity: This is sincerity of the heart. People can pick up on words and feelings that are not sincere. Not being sincere when dealing with others obtains the reputation of a "phony" and leads to an outcome of less than successful in dealing with others.
Commitment: It's a tough one in this world of "me" and "anything goes". Making a commitment is making a bond. The biggest commitment is to commit one's life to Jesus Christ. Once that is in place, other commitments, like marriage and vocation become less threating and more deeply satisfying.
A commitment to Jesus Christ is as simple as asking Him to forgive our sins and "starting life anew" by reading His word in the Bible and putting it into daily practice. (The Book of John is a good place to start)
